Some technical facts

For 3G annoyed users I want to explain the way of transmitting the singnal of this connection type. 3G networks work using the waves of decimetre range (approximately 2Ghz). As the waves are of high frequency, they are too short to pass by the obstacles. So, it is necessary to plant aerials densely in order to have good quality signal.

There are a lot of standards in 3G networks, you may look through them here A Knowledge Bank)))), but in Ukraine there are several standards that are used: UMTS, WCDMA, HSDPA. The speed of internet is pretty slow in Lutsk, if you pay less than 100 hryvnias, you will have only 256 kbps, if more than 120 hryvnias - the speed is unlimited, but it is hardly enough to see some video on Youtube. 

And all these pretty ads won`t give you normal speed to download some film, to see some film online, etc. So my advice is to get rid of all these modems and get the access to normal Internet.

Hello for everyone who has or had the bad luck to use 3g internet in Ukraine, especially in Lutsk. People are attracted by eye-catching commercials and buy these modems, often without realizing what is that, how it works and for what purposes it can be used. In this blog I will try to explain the way of how 3g internet is working, post some interesting facts about it and share my personal experience of using this internet standard.
